This is the beginning. I’ve read through some of the tutorials on how to create a blog, and my head feels like it is going to explode. Picking the name was very difficult. I had so many ideas, and I didn’t want to use a name someone else was using. I first chose Fussy Cuts — that’s when you pick a part of a fabric you want to use because it’s special in some way; for example, a flower you want to center in the middle of your block. Anyway, I found a website with that name and a business with that name, and it just wasn’t special enough. I finally decided on Wanda’s Life Sampler. It is a metaphor of my life, something different in every block, like a quilt sampler.
